What separates a memeplex from a mental model or a conceptual framework? Is there a reason why we should look at the concepts of the rationalists more than, say, the concepts of philosophers? If I were to compile a list of philosophy ones, I might include:
Occam's Razor, Map vs. Territory, Empiricism, Deontic Logic, Strawmen, Counterfactuals, Reference Class Problems, Heuristics, Reductio ad Absurdum, Is–Ought Problem, Epistemic Injustice, Veil of Ignorance, Language Games, Truth Tables, Theory of Mind, Thought Experiments, Regress Problems, Performative Utterances, Referential Opacity, Capital vs. Labor, Tacit Consent, Moral Luck, Recognition Theory, Pragmatics vs. Semantics, Reparative Justice, Instrumentalism... I could go on
No reason really, it’s probably just what came to mind based on what I’ve been reading lately. Anything useful goes.
Thanks for sharing your list, I love it! It made me realize that a project like this will probably grow into a very long list… maybe I should just write a top 10 instead.
Did my recent re-stack of a previous post of yours where I spoke of memeplexes possibly active the "memeplex" meme in you, inspiring this post? Cool if so, cool if no!
come across all the time in psych/phil/whatever all this is. I think there's dozens of memeplex's circling around the same aspects of things like motivation/happiness for example, typically pulling from different research/thinkers. Would be easier if we aligned, but maybe some people like not being easily understood.

Haha, I guess it might’ve been subconscious. Thanks if that was the case!
My pleasure, if that was the case!

The example of taking out the trash seems like a social inference. Are you on the spectrum by any chance? (Genuinely asking)
Otherwise, very interesting concept, thanks for sharing
